COTA - TALENT Program
TALENT (Third Age LEarning Network of Tasmania) promotes health and wellbeing among "Third Agers" through a range of mental, physical and social activities designed to extend interests, improve skills, enrich ideas and make new friends. TALENT was formed to coordinate and promote the work of community based learning providers, primarily Universities of the Third Age (U3As) and Schools for Seniors. TALENT works closely with the Department of Education and Training and has produced a Resource Kit to assist community organisations wishing to set up their own learning group.
