Employment Support

Flagstaff provides employment in engineering, laundry services, food services, mailings and paper waste management. Flagstaff is a supported employment service for people with disabilities who receive the Disability Support Pension. Assessment, job matching, and training during the first 4 months of employment. A Flagstaff employee plan is devised which identifies short and long term goals. Flagstaff can assist in the preparation of a client moving into open employment. If an employee moves to open employment they may be re-employed at Flagstaff should that be necessary within a 12 month period. Provides information, support and sometimes training to workers at the job site regarding people with disabilities. The Service currently employs over 100 people with disabilities in both part time and full time capacities.
