Special Transport Assistance Redlands - Assoc. Inc (STAR)
STAR EasyShopper provides a weekly door to door escorted shopping service for all residents of the southern part of the Redland Shire including Cleveland, Thornlands, Victoria Point and Redland Bay available on Friday. Northers part of the redland shire including Cleveland, Ormiston, Alex Hills, Wellington Point, Birkdale, Thornside and Capalaba on Thurs. Travel to either Cleveland or Capalba park shopping centre for approximately 2 1/2 hrs on Thursday and Friday only. Bookings are essential and close 12 noon Thursday and Friday. Bus can take wheelchairs, walkers, shopping trolleys and prams, and is fitted with a ramp. Registration for the service is essential. Cost $3.50 each way (carers and children under 5 travel free).
