The Cancer Council of Western Australia has a comprehensive range of services for cancer patients and their families, including support and education. The Cancer Council Support Coordinators can organise practical and emotional support for people with cancer and their families. Volunteers are available to carry out a range of helpful tasks . Peer support groups and complementary therapies (esp meditation classes). Prevention and early detection of cancer is an important part of the Cancer Council's work. The Regional Education Officers (REOs) are there to ensure important health messages are delivered to your community. Our REOs conduct seminars and workshops for community groups, workplaces and health professionals. The REOs also promote Cancer Council fundraising campaigns in your region.
